Mark I lens, I bought the Sony 400 last year and wanted to sell this one, I sent it to Canon to be serviced before selling to make sure it is in good condition. I spent over 3K getting it serviced, they have replaced the Motors and it has had the lenses cleaned. The service tech is a close friend and he says these lenses are better than the new ones
